As I look at the body of work of the teams involved in the 3-way tie, Oklahoma deserves the nod. I feel Texas’s pain, but they will get a major bowl bid.

Texas Tech, in my opinion, is ranked too high. Nothing against them as they are exciting, but their out-of-conference schedule was one of the weakest in the country. Besides, they didn’t shine down the stretch.
